Your first consultation lasting up to one hour (longer than most other clinics) giving you the opportunity to receive a more personal and thorough treatment in a less stressful environment.

 
A detailed case history is taken including details of how your symptoms began, factors that affected them, health problems, physical traumas, medications, surgeries and lifestyle habits. Please bring details of any clinical information you have (such as medical reports, x-rays or current medication).
Some appropriate clothing will normally be then asked to be removed in order to conduct a physical examination. Neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular etc examinations would be performed, where relevant. Osteopathic evaluation of your body's biomechanics, (structure, posture and physical movements) would conclude examination leading to a diagnosis.
If necessary, further investigations such as X-rays, blood tests, MRI scanning etc may be required for referral.

Diagnosis, clinical findings and an appropriate treatment plan with projected recovery would be explained and discussed. Guy - who is also an experienced personal trainer and - may also prescribe advice on exercise, workspace ergonomics, lifestyle and nutrition.

If you are unsuitable for osteopathic care, you will be appropriately referred.

The number of visits will depend on your condition and how long you have suffered with it - most patients will need between 2-6 visits.
